Itinerary

Day 1

When you arrive at the airport in Sri Lanka, you will be received by one of the representatives of the concerned tour agent who will ensure your smooth road transfer to Kandy.



Being second largest city in Sri Lanka, Kandy has some amazingly beautiful lakes, rivers and other intact natural endowments attracting numerous tourists from all over the world. The status of UNESCO World Heritage Site underscores the fact that it’s one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in Sri Lanka.



On the way to Kandy, you will visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Sri Lanka. This protected area is the breeding ground for abandoned and injured elephants where they are taken care of by the special caretakers. A perfect place to witness Asian elephants bathing in the river and playing with each other.
